| Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata conspicuous, black, thin, immersed, numerous, conspicuously branched, open, with a thin inconspicuous thalline margin, 1–5 mm long, 0.10–0.15 (–0.20) mm wide. Disc dull black, epruinose. Proper exciple lacking. Hymenium 100–125 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate, pale brown, 4-locular, 10–12 × 3–4 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

| Corticolous in north-eastern Qld, in rainforest, mangroves and on palms; also in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Norfolk Island. | ||
